Prof at Soundset 2014

We had a lot of fun rolling to Soundset 2014 with Prof, DJ Fundo and the rest of the Stophouse crew over Memorial Day weekend. It's been amazing watching Prof's career take off over the last few years and with his recent signing to Rhymesayers Ent, he's only going up from here. I'm really excited to see what the future holds for Prof and I look forward to working with him more in the future.

Bonus! After Prof's set I decided to put my camera down for a while and just enjoy the music, but before I did, I managed to watch 2 Chainz from on stage and I bumped into Nas right as he was about to go on. Pretty dope.

Lorde have mercy

I didn't have a press pass to shoot Lorde at Coachella, but I was determined to get a few pictures of her. During her set, I ducked behind a fence when security was turned away and crawled under the stage for about 10 feet where I found a place to pop up next to the main speakers on the right. I started snapping some pictures from there when I felt a hand grab my shoulder. The security guard asked me what the hell I was doing and told me nobody was allowed to be in that area. I showed him my artist pass and told him I was photographing another bands set that day and I just wanted to get a few pictures. He said I could only shoot from the photo pit and he escorted me through the gates right to the front of the stage. It was exactly the place I wanted to go but couldn't get to because I didn't have photo credentials. My plan worked perfectly. It was awesome.

My Coachella encounter with Kid Cudi and David Hasselhoff.

I was walking around behind the main stage during Kid Cudi's set at Coachella last Saturday. When he got done, he left the stage and walked towards the artist trailers right next to where I was standing. I poked my head around the corner to see what what was going on and I stumbled upon him and David Hasselhoff enthusiastically chopping it up with each other. I had my camera ready and started taking their picture, they both were really cooperative and let me snap away for a few minutes. It was a pretty cool experience. I'm glad I poked my head around that corner.
